still not done though. are you ever really done? there’s always something that needs updating, fixing or purging. it’s a never ending process

my youngest outgrew her heffalump room (she still loves her lumpy)
it was fun having her be old enough to have input, and really help choose what we did with her room

going back to my roots with fabric tape that will be sold again in my etsy shop soon!
just a little sneak peek here 🙂

my mom taught me to have a tidy, welcoming, comfortable home

so happy to help other women dive into the Word and be able to express their God-given creative talents on the pages of their bibles

April was good to us, but i’m looking forward to warmer weather and looking out my studio window at my neighbors beautiful trees bursting with flower blooms … it’s a gorgeous sight … i’ll try to remember to get some pictures for next month’s sum up

a little insta update

i just barely got used to writing 2014 on everything
then it went and switched to 2015
yikes.
i really am not sure where the year went. it kinda flew by.
it was a hard year for us. but a good one too.
Christmas came & went sorta like i just snapped my fingers
there’s definitely things i want to do different next year as far as Christmas goes.

playing a little catch up here in photographs…
i post almost everyday on instagram. it’s just so easy to keep up with everything there
it makes blogging seem like a lot of really hard work. yeah there’s that.

i got a new phone after thanksgiving so a lot of my pictures are still on my old phone but this pic was snapped the night of my Christmas cookie exchange/craft night.  my craft besties and i have been doing this every year for a lot of years … maybe like 8 or 9? i dunno. a lot. we do gifts, cookies and food. lot of food. and this is what my craft table looks like by the time everyone sets there stuff up. crazy.

i suprised my hubby a few years ago and redecorated out master bedroom while he was out of town … there are still things in that room that i haven’t finished … minor things, but things.
so i’m bound & determined to do them this month .. or next. but i’m doin’ em. you can take that statement to the bank. this little ledge above our bed is one of those things. my ideas of what to put up there have changed since i first did the room, but when i found a few of these pretty things (mercury jars from target – picture frame from hobby lobby) i had a few visions, and a new place to start.

my hubby maaaaaybe. just maaaaaybe let me get a white Christmas tree.
i love it so so much. thanks babe. i really love it
so much.

this is what we do when grandparents have the kids and we have a free sunday afternoon
we rummage throught the 2×4 pile at home depot. ha.

one of the best decorations i put out this year. a color-it-yo-self paper tablecloth from the tarjet
a bucket of markers, some candy and boom. my kitchen table was kid friendly holiday-ified
(thanks to my bestie for the tablecloth tip)

new slippers. yes
wood trees. yes.
cuppa tea. uh huh.
just what the blizzard that day called for.
the next day it was 58
ny is weird

happy mail. my stitching the states project was on hold until i got some new thread colors
was super excited to lay them out and finish up the east coast with them. i sell the pattern in my shop here. and i get most of my thread here. (which is not the same thread that is in included in the kits i’ve been selling but similar) oh and that cute stationary stuff?? from here.

a few travel pillows went out the first few weeks of December…

the charlie brown one in the middle really came with the book! i found it at a thrift store and had to put it in the pocket 🙂

yeah this was my studio. full of kits waiting to be sent out 2 weeks before Christmas
and that was only the second half of all the kits i mailed out since black friday! whew.

early Christmas present from my hubby. i bake a lot. which if you follow me on instagram, you already know.
the 6 qt. bowl can hold two batches of anything i make at once! saves me so much time when i’m meal planning or making breakfast/baked goods to store in the freezer

shameless bathroom selfie at van maur. have you ever been in their bathroom?!?
it’s like a mini spa. i could hang out in there for a while.

wrapping my gifts actually happened the night before Christmas eve… which is when i’m usually scrambling to get it all done. so even though everything else i did was late, my wrapping was early.
go figure.
i love serving together with my husband at out church
he’s so good at what he does. but it brings us closer together when we’re serving, helping others as a team. this was the stage we put together with friends at church for Christmas eve services … at was awesome. it was fun.

clementine wreaths = neighbor gifts
all i did was add ribbon, jingle bells & a pretty little tag

that 2×4 pile we were rummaging though up there? was for these nativity sets i wanted to make for some of our besties kids … the nativity images were a printable kit from here

put it all in a basket and brought it over … i think they loved it!
i loved it ha. i made another set for our house too.

here’s the original caption from this picture when i posted it on ig … this was exactly what was on my heart that night:

“props to all my mamas who are up at this hour. i know there’s alot of us…wrapping baking decorating all the things. for our spouses, littles, families…we. are. tired. we are worn out. but we do it because we love. the Creator built a driving force inside of us that loves nurtures and serves…all of these little meaningless petty things we’re doing that no one notices while running ourselves into the ground ….they are not missed by Him. they are not forgotten by Him. He sees, He knows… and we love because He first loved us.

for God so loved the world

He gave His only Son

that whoever believes in Him

will not perish

they will have everlasting life.

#johnthreesixteen

#thatsenoughformetocelebratewithacookie

#nowgodoallthethings
#orgotosleep
#sleepisnotoverrated”

that about summed it up.

a little bit of our living room decked for the holidays

breakfast in bed from my littlest little (a toaster strudel & applesauce on a paper plate 🙂
my journal & jesus calling. just what i needed that morning

this was the Christmas view upon entering our casa

a year in review … rainbowtized edition

boxwood forever
(new anthropologie goodies help too)

i mentioned that one of my new years resolutions would be to NOT not eat more crackers with nutella.
so there.

late night stitching sesh with my old person glasses
i don’t wear glasses but the readers help me see better at night!
are you working on the pattern? you can share your progress in the #stitchingthestates hashtag on ig!
go take a peek and see how many people are making their maps beautiful!! it makes me so happy and all warm & fuzzy inside!! seriously guys it does. and i show my husband all the pictures.

sunday-funday partner in crime. love this girl.

so this is what my map looks like right now…. actually i think i finished SC & NC since this progress pic… getting there! almost done!

blueberries in the freezer from a warm summer berry picking day …
turned into muffins for a cold snowy morning breakfast.
i love how God provides for us in all seasons. blueberries n all.

how do you start your morning?
i try to stay disciplined with my planner (though doesn’t always happen)
my journaling or some type of quiet reading/ relecting with Jesus
and breakfast. yum.

craft room diaries.
big suitcase full of vintage strips. mainly used for garlands i sell in the shop
or for whatever else you’d want to use vintage sheet strips for … i can think of lotsa things 🙂

my car thermostat read -11 that day. without windchill
brrrr.

aren’t these supa cuuuuute?
they store all your stitching the states goodies & projects supplies ever so nicely.

it’s january. that means #throwawayallthethings
finally got around to cleaning out these two big drawers

muddy buddies. nuf said.

and this was yesterday …. this is what was goin on in my brain
kinda feels the same today….

“started my day immediately feeling bogged down & overwhelmed with the things i had put on myself to accomplish today. my husband texted me a short sentance and it caused me to stop. i just stopped. long enough to hear thoughts of#ephesiansthreetwenty running through my head

now all glory to God. who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

so stop for a minute girls. lock yourself in the bathroom, turn off the radio or just close your eyes…and let that soak in. now look through ephesians three twenty lenses at what you want to get done today and what might have to wait until tomorrow. cause tomorrow’s a new day. aaaaand bonus: new mercies will be right there with it.

#canigetanamen
#nowgomakeachickenpotpieortwofordinner
#raisinguprubiesinthekitchen”

i’m not sure what happened to me being all gung-ho about getting back to blogging
i think about it all the time
that’s just the problem
i have a lot more time to “think” than i do to “do”
what about you girls? what are you busy “doing” lately? organizing, purging, catching up on sleep that was non existent over the holidays?
check check check all of the above.
tell me! and i’ll email the PDF file of the stitching the states pattern in my shop to the first twenty people who leave a comment, and hopefully if you’re on instagram you’ll share your progress in the hashtag! mkay?! kay 🙂
much love ♥

summer road trips and back to blogging ♥

summer schedules are in full swing around here.
well sorta.
staying up late, sleeping in, pj’s and crafts are really what’s goin on

i was talking to my hubby the other day…
telling him & realizing at the same time that i really missing blogging
doing projects and crafting posts are seriously lacking lately
and that’s what used to make this place so fun…

but i suppose it was ok for a time
since life is all about seasons changing right?
different things happening
different things we go through

trying to make time for the important things
and building on what is eternal … not temporal

“…the glitter of the world is tinny & temporal. the Light of My Presence is brilliant & everlasting.”
Sarah Young ~ Jesus Calling

so basically all that to say i’ll be making more, sharing more, diy-ing more
… again like i used to

i’ve been stocking up on supplies and garage sale finds for a few projects too
… chairs to spray paint, curtains to make … i have a list going
things to get done
memories to be made

we packed up every year and hit the road for a 16 hour trip to NC to visit family
we love it there… the beach, the weather…chic-fil-a…
there’s no chic-fil-a in NY. no sonic either. no ikea or world market anywhere near here either
but whatever … i’m not bitter or anything

i brought this beauty along on the ride to keep me busy
i actually found the whole piece as you see it in the picture
(minus the pretty rainbow thread)
at a thrift store for 7 dollars!!!! one of the best things i’ve ever scored.

the day before we left my littlest went to a my little pony birthday party … we made her a few pretty things
including one of the my little pony necklaces i had for sale in my shop … i’m in the process of making a bunch more so keep an eye out! they’ll be available soon.

this was my travel pillow 🙂
which i was also thinking of making a few covers and listing those in the shop as well
any interest? the fabric is so cute … i never get tired of it

have you seen the you are here mugs from starbucks??
i’m obsessed with them. my hubby very pleasantly puts up with my crazy shenanigans
and found most of them for me (that guy) (♥)
we tried to get one in every state on the way down, but man, they’re tricky to find.

yup. another thing NY does not have.
why?
do all the places like the south better?
guess so.

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him ~ Philippians 2.13

(sigh)
the peach milkshakes are my fav.

we spent a bunch of days at the beach … then a hurricane came. boo.
that sorta messed up our beach plans, but we made up for it later

i stumbled onto these heavenly things at joanns and decided to ditch my plain old single colored
embroidery floss for my map project and use this braided variegated goodness instead

progess!

more mugs 🙂

more progress

a trip to Charlotte for the weekend called for sonic drinks and a little crochet
i was working on this pillow pattern. it’s so cute. go buy it. you’re welcome

yum… strawberry limeade
… speaking of Charlotte, we loved it there. i want to live there.
for real. i wish we could.

i bought #allthethings at world market

and ate lots of pretty candy

rainbowtized pompoms make the beach even prettier

even more progress
i’m working on duplicating the pattern so i can have it listed in my shop if you’re interested in stitching your own state map with pretty embroidery floss from joanns (and believe me that’s the only place i could find the floss … i looked everyyyyyywhere) hope to have the pattern figured out by next week maybe

the ride home was long but we made it … and i ate more candy

be back real soon!!

insta-monday ♥

oh hey. it’s me
the never ending winter of 2014 sorta got to me.
it really took it’s toll on me
and i think my blog fell asleep

so now it’s spring
it’s warm
well.. warmer
this is upstate after all
i’m feeling the need to get back into the swing of things…
open up my shop maybe
looking for new direction
just pondering all these things

so here’s a little bit of my insta
that is still a happy place for me
you can find me there

while on haitus i’ve been working on our family room … it’s coming along very happily
i hope it’s a room we all love to live, laugh, play and just be in

covered my existing pillows with rag rugs from walmart
super cheap
super easy
super awesome looking

globes are awesome
whoever started the trend is awesome

and then there’s this guy
well the picture kinda speaks for itself
yeah
he’s mine
i love him
the shirt is from walk in love
he tried it on and i got to snap a few shots
go see … they have tons of cool faith based stuff

change is good
black hair is good
so i changed my hair and dyed it black
i don’t think i’ll ever go back to brown
well maybe someday
but not anytime soon

sooooo these lamps?
$5 last summer at a garage sale
a little spray paint, fabric and look!
so neat … love simple projects that hardly cost much
so gratifying
i hope to post about the family room soon with lotsa pictures

sometimes cake for breakfast is all you need
in your craft room is even better

realizing lately that prayer is powerful
not that i never knew that
but lately
its huge for me. i’ve prayed for years … for some things
i think i just started to go through the motions thinking that God had something for me
other than what i was praying for … i was struggling
so much. but His promises are true. so so true
and i’m thinking He just wanted … wants to take me deeper
deeper than my feet could. would ever wander on their own

did some cleaning in my studio
but it’s a mess again … but it’s a bright happy colorful mess
the best kind.

was so honored to be featured on GoodHousekeeping.com

these girls.
i just love them.
so much

my friend Becky over at Clean Mama just released her new book
full of organic, do it yourself cleaning product recipes
perfect timing … spring cleaning

See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands … isaiah forty nine. sixteen.
i wear this almost everday … from my sweet friend’s etsy shop here

lots of new supplies have been coming in over the past few months
i have lots of new ideas … just need to be inspired, motivated … excited 🙂

how is your spring season going so far?
cleaning? organizing? just enjoying the sunshine maybe …
tell me. i’d love to hear
much love ♥

a winter wreath. winter break. and a little insta ♥

this is it
that time of year
when the cold, snow and lack of sun starts to get to me
like its gets really gloomy

this week is winter recess for my girls
so we’ve been home … just relaxing. and not relaxing.
a combination of both.

the wreath was easy to make no tutorial necessary
just make a huge boat load of pom poms
and hot glue them to one of those floral wreath forms
add some ribbon and hang. that’s all.

i just wanted to pop in to say hello
was thinking about all you guys
and how i’m blessed by you
blessed that you read my little blog
that you follow along here
it means a bunch of bunches to me.

i’m still working on
my crochet mood blanket project
but i really wanted to make this hat for my littlest little …

this is a rug
it’s happy
so there CAN be happiness in a rug
oh you agree? yes. thank you.

still goin strong with the diy Bisquick kick
here’s my original post but i’ve modified the recipe a few times
and i need to update that post
here are the ingredients i use now in case you want to try it 🙂

6 c.flour – 1/4 c. baking powder – 2 tbsp. sugar – 1 tsp. salt – 1 c. cold butter
add the dry ingredients in your food processor and pulse until all combined
cut cold butter into chunks and add to the processor
pulse until butter is in small crumbs and incorporated
i store ours in a sealed glass jar in the pantry … we use it up so quickly!
my fam loves pancakes & biscuits

my peeps also love my little ponies
well 2 out of the 3 of my peeps
even though the hubs is so compliant when it comes to our pony obsession
that i’d consider that a type of pony love. hehe

have you seen?? go look!

valentines day is big around here
well i make it big. i love it.
it must be all the hearts or something
i dunno
maybe
not that i like hearts all that much or anything.

heart lunches, heart dishes …
yeah it’s big
made some oatmeal butterscotch cookies for the hubs.
delivered them right to work
with some starbucks on the side
nice.

we made this garland in honor of the olympics starting and it was so so so much fun!
we learned a bunch about which flags belong to which country
and why they look the way they do … a book from the library (or google)
and some colored paper is all you need!

are you guys lovin the olympics?
the girls love the figure skating
i love the half pipe snowboarder girls
the ones who rock the side braids

kinda like this day
when i was rockin a side braid. aaaaaand the sun was out
whoa.
weird.
the sun never shows up around here

the other cool thing about the olympics is that they’re in Russia
and nesting dolls are Russian
and there are lotsa cute nesting doll crafts
all over Pinterest
yup.
see how i just made the olympics crafty like that?

made these crocheted dolls a few years ago the pattern is from here

here’s a few things i still want to make in honor of the olympics
(they’re almost over? that doesn’t matter) (shush.)

some days have been so so good
some days have been so raw
and hard.
this past week i was really struggling with self-worth
 believing i am worthy
worthy to be pursued
no one likes to feel un-pursued
decided the pursuing needed to start with me taking action
instead of wallowing in my unmet expectations
which i find myself so often doing.
a victim of my own miserable unmet expectations
i set myself up.
everytime
and it sucks.
the Lord specifically spoke quietly to my heart
(at 2am when i could not find rest or sleep at all which is so unlike me)
that He will meet all my needs & expectations
once i place those into His care & trust
i’ll no longer place that unattainable burden on my husband
but it’s so hard to do
cause he’s here. present. in front of me. the physical.
and i love him so very much
but my Savior is seen and felt by faith
by trust
it’s the spiritual. the non-tangible part of me that i so often don’t want to tap into
for that feeling of worthiness
but that’s the true source. it won’t come from anywhere or anyone else
why is this so hard… i struggle
but then there’s this

psalm 139.
it tells me that He made all the delicate, inner parts of my body

and knit me together … He saw me before I was born.

Every day of my life was recorded in His book.

Every moment was laid out

before a single day had passed.

How precious are your thoughts about me O God
wow.
that’s all.

my first ever craft show!
and it was so so fun! i have a whole bunch of pictures to show
that’ll be for a separate post soon
but that is my hottie back there behind the table 🙂 he helped me set up
manned the cash box and was so supportive of the whole day.
he’s so supportive of anything i dream up really.
and i really love him

out-grown my little pony shirts turned hoop art 🙂
thinkin of taking some custom orders for this kind of thing
just trying to figure out logistics for it … hmmm

everything’s better in a heart. even marshmallows

my studio was all cleaned and ready for craft night. it’s never clean.
like really never.

more wife after God & cute hearts from here

so back to the wreath…

insta friday … on saturday.

every year Christmas does it to me.
it kills me.
and every year i say … next year will be different.
it might happen this year
this year is sorta different for me … it’s new for me, i’ve never had a year like this one
so we’ll see what stems from it … i’m seeing good, big changes
i wanted to just rest and enjoy my girls being home for 2 weeks
but it went on for a bit longer
i was gonna dive right in here with a project but i feel like i need to catch up with you guys
a lot of fun stuff is always happening on my instagram feed
you can follow me there i’m raisinguprubies
coffee? tea anyone? come sit with me for a few…

1. any article of clothing with hearts on it is rad (no big surprise there)
2. i have a friend that we call … uh … “supernatural” she does everything in like
5 minutes or less, and it’s always perfect. it’s annoying yeah. but we love her a lot, so it outweighs the annoyance. she painted these wooden people. and she’s not even a professional painter person or anything. see… annoying.
3. dress garlands went and got all Christmas like 🙂
they’ll be back in the shop soon. can’t wait for v-day. it’s my fav.
4. i was so blessed by you guys during the holidays … i get to do what i love because of your love & support! that means so much and i {heart} you.
5. in an open and honest kinda way, i’ve been struggling emotionally lately
i’m wrestling with things i don’t like, things i don’t want to wrestle with.
and honestly it’s just down right exhausting.
i feel worn. tired.
my journal is a place, i’ve noticed, that i go to seeking refuge.
quiet.
a place where i’m forced to shush my ever-annoying thoughts and listen for His.
listen for the still small Voice … some days i strain. but i need to hear. i need to listen.
it’s so hard when my thoughts are tripping over each other so obnoxiously, that not even a simple sound can break through.  go away thoughts. just go away.
i want them replaced with my Savior’s thoughts.
i need to hear the Voice of Truth.
nothing else.
my thoughts suck.
so yeah. journal picture right there.
6. so. much. happy. mail.
7. Christmas goodies were taking over my studio
8. two of my most favorite jewlery peeps here & here
9. pear & brie tart. yum. recipe here

1. this picture may or may not have spoiled some of the gifts we got for the girls. maybe.
didn’t say it did for sure. but it mighta.
2. side braid … pretending i’m queen of Sparta in the movie 300
in my minivan. yup. weird like that.
3. i’ve been asked a lot recently about what my journaling process is … and if i could write a post with some details … i really really want to do that. i’m still sorting out in my head what i want to say though.  since i never started it intentionally this way…
i’ll have to write more about it. soon.
4. the “rubies” get put to work every so often 🙂
5. these mixers tags were my fav. (will be in the shop again too, though i’ll be fading these specific ones out only to be replaced by an even better design! made for me by my bloggy & real life bestie AmyJ
of course. cause she’s the awesomest.
(have you seen her shop makeover?! she’s got all new, cutest ever, clipart in her etsy shop! it’s like a little piece of Amy in an instant download. go see. quick. i’ll wait)
6. packing up the goods is the best part
7. stripes + lace = serial cuteness
8. do you have a charming charlies near you? beware.
9. i’m so excited about this new year and about all the new ideas i have for the shop and for this blog … including new hoop designs! i keep jotting little notes when inspiration hits!

1. these shoes.
2. more happy mail. this was only half that day! ♥
3. this blanket. wow. rainbowtized afghan. love. thanks aunt crochet.
4. me. shopping day.
5. this freaked me out. (and a bunch of people on instagram freaked out too)
6. …in Your unfailing love You will lead the people You have redeemed.
in Your strength You will guide them… exodus. fifteen. thirteen.
7. this girl. mini me. stress for daddy.
8. this purse. was $250. yup. so i wanna try making it myself.
9. i got this purse instead. which i love just as much. and did not cost a whole weeks wages

1. under the rainbow-tized blanket. in front of the tree. with hot chocolate. and a cookie
ok two cookies. fine.
2. this stuff is chapstick crack. i will never go back to whatever else i used.
go buy some and tell her i sent you.
3. in Christ i have been brought to fullness. colossians. two. ten
that’s all. no big deal. #hugebigdeal
4. Christmas in the studio
5. bottle brush trees. with corks for trunks.
from a huge tub of corks that was in the basement, that i bought from a garage sale like three years ago… yeah i knew i was keeping them for a reason. exactly for that specific reason. so knew it.
6. Commit to the Lord whatever you do. He will establish your plans.
proverbs.sixteen.three
7. did you snag a JOY marquee sign from Target? i had a bunch of fun with it.
might just have to stay up all year
8. this toy was my favorite, of the gifts the girls received. it was super fun for them
and bonus: no mess! (my little customized hers. all about the ponies over here)
9. it was a no-heat curls. no makeup. hot chocolate.
crank the heat up cause its 8 degrees here.
packin up the last of the happy mail kinda day that day. it was.

1. psalm. ninety. two… had been wrestling with those words for a few days. sometimes it just feels good to get things on paper. out loud. like it’s a done deal that way. confirmed. a sure thing.
try it sometime 🙂
2. stumbled across this fun post … where you make a granny square, every day of the year (or a bunch on the weekend, however it works best for you) then you’ll have 365 squares or enough to piece together a blanket at the end of 2014… cool huh?! i was super excited, since one of my goals is to take some time to create just for me, or for my home … no matter what else is going on, no matter what deadlines are looming. to just stop and take some time to be creative & rest.
if you want to join in head over to my feed for the deets, and you can share progress with the hashtag #crochetmoodblanket2014
3. yarn is happy … some of the colors i chose for the blanket, some for the shop.
4. made some lists when the new year hit, lists of things i really want to be better at, or accomplish.
on that list is this room. it’s our family room. its lived in and loved…I don’t talk about it much probably because it’s in transition. a transition between how I decorated it when we moved here almost eight years ago to a room that’s more of a reflection of our family now. a reflection of how we do life together. a reflection of me changing as a homemaker. you can probably see where the shift is taking place since you all know me a little bit 🙂 2013 was also a year of shifting for me. as a wife, mother, and daughter of the King. happy things and hard things that I know will both carry over into the new year with me. so like 2014, I have big plans for this room. can’t wait to make it into something awesome for the people I love most….and excited to share the progress with you!
5. pom pom wreath. more on that soon…
6. I don’t have a word for 2014. but I feel like I have direction… a sense of peace from Isaiah 61. almost as somewhat of a compass to lead me in that right way. have you read this passage? it’s all about rebuilding. restoration. “…crown of beauty, oil of joy, and a garment of praise. they will be called oaks of righteousness a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor… they will rebuild ruins & restore the places long devastated… everlasting joy will be yours…” wow. amazing promises for a new year. a fresh start. i’m claiming this chapter this year. i’m claiming hope & faith in these promises. His promises to me. His promises to you sweet friends. what are you claiming for 2014?? tell me! i wanna know…
7. these boots had me at the flowers. aaaand the ribbon laces ♥
8. so that granny a day that i’m so excited about?? … well i made a few squares, and decided i’m not a square person. i’m a heart person. made a few hearts instead … much better.
here is the pattern and what the end result will look like.
9. what i love most about instagram, is the connections.
the connections you make with woman all over the US & the world … that you would have otherwise never known … creative girls, struggling with life, small business owners, loving life, blessed with full happy homes & thrifting addictions … tons of girls just like me.
i connected with Kiley about a year ago, through our blogs … and together we got to meet Deb as she was passing through here last week … but lunch at Panera for two hours was too short of a visit girls!

1. i’m working on a few goodies for the shop, for Valentines day … my most favorite of all celebrations 🙂
i took a survey on ig for most liked sayings on some new garlands
the top three were 1, 2 & 4 … an ig friend even suggested calling them “jarlands” ??!?!!!
wait. what?!?! how cute is that? never thought of it …
jar garlands… jarlands. whatcha think? 🙂 ig friends are awesome.
2. dealing with the Christmas aftermath. purging, sorting and getting aggravated
cause i don’t want stuff anymore. say no to stuff in 2014.
3. this recipe. tried it. was good.
the hubs is a cookie connoisseur . he loves cookies. well, certain kinds anyway.
so when it comes to a chocolate chip or an oatmeal cookie …if it passes the test, i’m happy
4. more fun hoops … ideas are always swimming around in my brain.
i’ll be having another hoop sale hopefully at the beginning of the week.

whew… lots of catching up
happy 2014! can’t wait to share lots of good stuff here with you all ♥
happy weekend too 🙂
